Payment Credit Policy for Returning Buyers:
At Land Direct USA, we value our customers and strive to provide flexible solutions that make land ownership attainable. In the event a buyer returns a property to us, we offer the opportunity to credit previous payments toward the purchase of a new property under the following conditions:
- Eligibility for Payment Credit
– Buyers who have previously returned a property to Land Direct USA may apply their previous payments toward the purchase of a new property, provided they were in good standing prior to default.
– Good standing is determined by the buyer’s adherence to payment schedules and compliance with all contract terms prior to default.
- Minimum Deposit Requirement
– Regardless of the amount of credit from previous payments, the buyer must place a minimum deposit for the new property.
– The minimum deposit will be set according to the standard terms for the new property of interest.
- Application of Previous Payments
– Previous payments will be applied as credit toward the purchase price of the new property.
– If the total of previous payments exceeds the cash price of the new property, the excess amount can be applied toward:
– Additional properties (if applicable).
– Taxes or other applicable fees associated with the purchase.
- Limitation on Credit for Multiple Defaults
– If a buyer has multiple exchanges and defaults, the opportunity to apply previous payments as credit will be voided.
– The eligibility to apply previous payments will be at the sole discretion of Land Direct USA, and we reserve the right to assess each situation based on the buyer’s history and previous transactions with the company.
- Process for Claiming Credit
– Buyers must inform Land Direct USA in writing of their intent to apply previous payments toward a new purchase.
– The buyer must fill out the application form available on the Land Direct USA website for the desired lot and complete the minimum down payment as specified on the website page of the selected property.
– The credit will be deducted from the total purchase price of the new property after the minimum deposit has been placed.
– No other promotion can used at the same time that the credit is used.
- Additional Terms
– Credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the original buyer.
– Credit for previous payments cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.
– The terms and conditions of each new purchase agreement will apply.
